In a nod to the 80s – Quiffs are back in a BIG way! Here’s how you can wear the hottest new hair trend…
Yes, you heard us right! The quiff is back and bigger than ever thanks to the likes of hair trendsetters, Iggy, Kelly, Kaley, Miley and lots more.
This style can be worn lower for an everyday look or taken to new heights with eye-catching volume.
The quiff is one of the easiest styles to acheive on yourself, so up your hair game by following these simple steps from international Pureology Artists Sandra Joseph, and Ruth Roche.
1. Apply a small amount of Colour Stylist Anti-Split Blow Dry, $37.50 (a), styling cream and using a round brush, blowdry top of hair smooth.
2. Backcomb the roots to create a 1″ (or 2” depending on the height you’re after) high cushion. Apply a pea-sized amount of Colour Stylist Cuticle Polisher, $38 (b), shine serum to palms and style hair away from the face using your fingers. Finish with Colour Stylist Supreme Control, $38 (c), high hold hair spray for colour-treated hair.

If your hair is NOT undercut (like Scarlett’s):
3. Take a horseshoe parting at the top and using vertical sections, lightly backcomb sections throughout the sides and back. Brush sides back, using tension to keep the hair very close to the head. Create a classic twist from the nape to the crown, and secure with bobby pins.
4. On the top, twist and tuck the ends underneath at the back of the crown and secure with a bobby pin. Spray with Colour Stylist Strengthening Control, $38 (d), zero dulling hairspray for added hold. Apply a small amount of Colour Stylist Cuticle Polisher, $38, shine serum into palms and smooth over sides and back to create a high shine.
