HOW TO: FAKE ‘MELTING POLISH’

Everyone remembers ordering their favourite ICE CREAM as a kid and having it melt and drip down their hands before they had a chance to eat it all. This nostalgic design will bring back plenty of sweet soda fountain memories.

STEP 1

Apply a base coat and when dry, paint your nails with two coats of the red polish using the brush from the bottle. (We chose this candy bright red, but a fondant pink or chocolate brown works just as well.)

STEP 2

Wait until the red polish has completely dried before adding the drips. To do this, take the white polish and, using a nail art brush, paint on the outline shape. Using the brush from the polish bottle, fill in the rest with thick, even strokes. Drop a few extra tiny drips on the nail to finish the effect.

STEP 3

Once the drips are completely dry, seal your nail design with a layer of high-shine top coat and you’re done!

Sugary, sweet and good enough to eat!
