Dental Therapist, Sandi Renall from White Smile Parnell, tells us how whitening can transform your teeth.
With the advancements in teeth whitening technology and at home, affordable products, there’s really no excuse for yellowing or stained teeth anymore. As they say, a smile is the prettiest thing you can wear, so make yours as great as it can be.
We find out how…
A NEW YOU
‘I believe a beautiful, fresh, clean, white smile gives you confidence and portrays a certain radiance,’ Sandi says. ‘I use The Beyond Polus Whitening Accelerator, which is the best most advanced Laser Whitening available in New Zealand.’
‘It takes 45 minutes, but I always book an hour to help make people feel relaxed,’ says Sandi. ‘The process is not painful, as we use specially designed low sensitive gels and our lasers operate at a lower temperate than similar products, increasing patient comfort levels,’ she assures.
‘The gums are fully protected with a special paste, while the whitening gel is placed on each tooth, then the laser light is placed over the teeth to work it’s magic.’
CAN WHITENEING DAMAGE TEETH?
‘No,’ says Sandi. ‘This system has been proven to have no short or long term negative effects on the enamel of teeth, on the dentine of teeth or the gums,’
‘Depending on base genetics and the amount of staining, the teeth can change anything up to 15 shades, and results can last up to two to five years,’ says Sandi. ‘We are removing all staining and bringing your teeth back to their youthful lustre and brightness with immediate results.’
TOP TIP: ‘Avoid coloured and staining foods for the following 24 hours after treatment, like teas, coffees, red wine, tobacco products.’
MAINTAIN YOUR PEARLY WHITES
‘Achieving a beautiful smile should be seen as an investment, which you need look after,’ says Sandi.
