Max Factor’s global creative director Pat McGrath transforms Candice Swanepoel into a Hollywood icon for new campaign.
Back in January, Max factor announced it’s new global glamour ambassador to be none other than the world’s most famous women – the late Marilyn Monroe. We couldn’t wait to see what they would do for their upcoming campaigns, and now the wait is finally over.
Global creative director Pat McGrath, has transformed global brand ambassador Candice Swanepoel into the iconic Hollywood star – and she looks incredible!
Complete with signature blonde locks, statement winged eyeliner and a bold red lip, the model looks the spitting image of Marylin.
‘Marilyn made the sultry red lip, creamy skin and dramatically lined eyes the most famous beauty look of the Forties, and it’s a look that continues to dominate the beauty and fashion industry,’ said McGrath when the collaboration was announced.
We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak in January when Candice first shared a glam shot of herself in character on her Instagram account. And here’s what she had to say:
‘Through my work with @maxfactor I’m lucky to be able to transform through makeup. Here @patmcgrathreal and @shayashual transformed me into Marilyn. Fact is Mr max factor was originally responsible for making Norma Jean into Marilyn all those years ago…It’s the perfect time of year to give yourself a dramatic new look or be more adventurous with your makeup.’
We couldn’t agree more!
